Alan Turing celebrated on the new £50 note
15th July 2019
Code breaker Alan Turing has been celebrated as the new face on the new £50 note. This is marvellous news, a recognition of the incredible work that Turing and others did at Bletchley Park. He was one of the founders of computer science. The world would have been a very different place without him and his treatment by the authorities was nothing short of scandalous.
