A Cheesy Example of Protectionism

China has lifted an import embargo on soft and mould-opened cheeses.
Market demand for artisan cheeses is growing strongly in China but the country imports nearly 90 per cent of all cheese with the majority of imports coming from Australia and New Zealand.
The lifting of the (temporary) import ban is gouda news all round.
