An interesting example of an entrepreneur who wants to reduce his fixed costs by offering his product for free…

Interesting comment about fixed costs.

“There are fixed costs involved in owning this building empty”. Presumably this refers to the landlord’s extra costs - e.g. site security, maintenance, promotion.

So the loss of potential rent £150,000 per year is worthwhile - if only to see the factory occupied by another manufacturer.
