Create a personnel profile for all known stakeholders in the UWP case study

This week’s activity requires students to dissect the case study and create a personnel profile of Kos Palouk, Michael Donovan, General Meiri, General Pierce, the governor of Beral, and the Olive Hats.

The personnel profiles can then be used as a revision tool or a quiz. For example, can you name the correct person for each statement below:

54 years old
Argued that the UWP should recruit female doctors
Assigned responsibility for investigating the social infrastructure projects
Autocratic leader
Believes that both projects have advantages and disadvantages
Came to know Kos Palouk quite well
Considering cell production for the construction of the hospital
Could gain a first mover advantage
Decided to undertake major improvement of social infrastructure
Delegated the responsibility for investigating the projects to Colonel Michael Donovan
Did not seem able to control the situation in Loyka
Enjoyed job security
Expected to create stability, fulfilling the UWP Mission’s aim
Feared that a university built by UWP would be a symbol of foreign intervention
First commander of the UWP Mission to Loyka
Given role of remotivating the Olive Hats
Head of the Civil Engineering Group
Hoped that the UWP Mission to Loyka would stay for many years
Needs to purchase a large lorry
Owns own car
Part-time food server in officers’ dining hall at the UWP Mission to Loyka
Received permission from the UWP to build a hospital or university
Recommended the hospital to be built as soon as possible
Replaced by General Diane Pierce in late 2011
Reported to General Pierce that the project could be completed in 25 to 30 weeks
