A 41-megapixel Nokia smartphone was among the new technology on show during the opening day of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The chief executive of Nokia, Stephen Elop told the BBC’s Rory Cellan-Jones that the 808 Pureview is “the world’s best camera-phone”.
He also defended Nokia’s continued use of the Symbian operating system, after the company had previously said it would abandon it completely for Windows Phone software.
