Tragedy and Contingency Planning - Thomas Cook Struggle

In 2006 Bobby and Christi Shepherd, who were aged just 6 and 7, died of carbon monoxide poisoning in a Corfu hotel during a holiday sold by Thomas Cook. The holiday firm had no direct responsibility for the tragic deaths of the children, but an inquest jury has now ruled Thomas Cook had breached its duty of care to the Shepherd family.
