Tracking the progress of three new start-ups

Rachel Bridge (Enterprise Editor of the Sunday Times) joined us at the Business Teacher conference on Friday and briefly described her new series which is tracking three new business start-ups…

The three start-ups are introduced in the Sunday Times today. They are:

Redemption Brewery Company - a microbrewery based in Tottenham, set up by Andrew Moffat

Gourmet Popcorn - a niche popcorn producer in Consett County Durham, set up by Catherine and Richard Furze

Eternships.com - a website where small firms can advertise graduate work placements, formed by a good friend of tutor2u - Raj Dey.

Three existing, contrasting businesses. They make a terrific base for students to consider the likely success of each business, and to track their progress using Rachel’s updates.
