A fantastic advert here showcasing the impact that IKEA's decisions to democratise the design of their furniture had on creating product add-ons for people with disabilities.
These products make use of additive manufacturing i.e. using 3-D printing technology.
There is commercial value in doing this of course, but it is a shining example of the mutual benefits from strongly grounded corporate social responsibility.
