The Great Wall ON China - AQA BUSS4 Research Theme

Graham Prior

16th October 2013

During the recent BUSS4 research theme CPD days we discussed a great strategy for helping really bring the research theme to life. The strategy is to give some dedicated wall space to the research theme and therefore creating a Great Wall on China.
In TBBLE 2 Innes Robinson discussed the concept of 'working walls'. Walls that are constantly evolving and which become part of the teaching and learning as opposed to just displaying work and posters.
Part of the Great Wall on China might include a large Ansoffs Matrix which students can bring in information on businesses who have expanded into China and then place them in the correct part of the matrix according to the risk involved. The Great Wall on China then becomes a living and breathing teaching resource that can be discussed and added to as the A2 year progresses.
I have already been tweeted a few pictures of teachers (and students) Great Walls on China.
It would be superb to see many more.............
