The Caffe Nero Loyalty Scheme - Simple and Effective

Here’s another short article on how a retailer attempts to encourage and reward customer loyalty. The Caffe Nero loyalty card is one of the most successful retail loyaly schemes, but what differentiates it from the likes of Clubcard or Nectar is its simplicity. No smartcards here - just a piece of card and an ink stamp.

The scheme is so simple: - Buy nine coffees - and get your tenth free - A card is stamped with each purchase - Helps Caffe Nero track repeat customers - simply by seeing how many customers in the queue use the card - Cards carried in purses and wallets - a good way to promote the brand!
