Teacher of Business Education
A suitably qualified and experienced teacher is required from August 2011 who is able to deliver Business Studies and Economics at IGCSE level (Years 10 and 11 – students from 14 to 16 years of age) and Business and Management and Economics within the IB Diploma programme (Years 12 and 13 – students from 16 to 18 years of age). There is also the opportunity to be involved with the development of a post-16 BTEC vocational Business programme as an alternative pathway to the IB Diploma.
Coordinator of Theory of Knowledge and Personal and Social Education
A suitably qualified and experienced teacher is required from August 2011 to coordinate and lead the delivery of the Theory of Knowledge component within the IB Diploma programme (for students of ages from 16 to 18 in Years 12 and 13) and the iPSE (International Personal and Social Education) programme across the full age and ability range from Years 7 to 13 (students from the ages of 11 to 18 years). A responsibility allowance (TLR3) is available for this position which requires the administration and management of both TOK and iPSE programmes as well as the leadership and coordination of teams of teachers from various Faculties.
