Ryanair Retaliation - low cost flying!

Michael O’Leary, Ryanair chief executive has announced plans to introduce a £10 seat reservation fee on flights from Dublin to Gatwick and Malaga from May 16th. Ryanair will roll it out across all flight routes if the take up is high. It will be interesting to follow this story to see if the additional revenue stream for the business has any impact on flight turn around times and efficiency levels of the airline. This additional revenue stream is on top of baggage fees, speedy boarding fees and a newly introduced £2 levy per passenger to compensate passengers stranded by the volcanic eruption last year.
