Memory Challenge - Start-ups

Here is a quick starter activity which gets students into defining some key terms related to start-ups…

A quick reminder of the concept:

- A number of terms are displayed on screen - somewhere between 10-15 is ideal
- Students are asked to memorise the terms shown
- The terms disappear after a pre-determined time (say 30 seconds)
- Students are asked to challenge their memory by writing the terms down (precise answers only) + providing a concise definition of each

There are many variations on this approach. But the above is good to try first time.

Here is a ready-made PowerPoint you can use - the terms are easily edited to provide some variety at a later stage of the course
