Market Segmentation & Product Development | Primark Launches New Clothing Range

There are estimated 13 million women in the UK going through the perimenopause or menopause at any time. So Primark's decision to launch a new range of clothing specifically designed for them looks like a smart move.
The Metro reports here on Primark's new clothing collection of items such as nightwear, underwear and base layers which as designed to help women with some common symptoms associated with menopause.
There are fourteen garments in the launch range with prices rqnging from £7 to £12.
This is a great example of demographic segmentation by Primark. Let's hope other clothing retailers follow suit.
