Logo scrabble - create any word using logos!

The website is www.iconscrabble.com and although it will only do 18 characters at a time, a little effort will result in any sentence length that you want. Also, don’t be put off by the fact that the website instructions are in German! There is a box to enter text and then out pops the logos.

Plenty of scope for creative use in the classroom, from posters to using the projector and inputting student’s names and seeing how many of the logos they recognise. Hovering the mouse above the logo will reveal the answer.

I did want to do a tutor2u version but unfortunately it doesn’t do numbers…
