You might be like me - totally disinterested in the Royal Wedding on 29 April 2011 and almost certain NOT to buy any wedding souvenirs, memorabilia and associated tat. How significant is the £600m retail boost? In the big scheme of things - not very. However it will be a welcome increase for hard-pressed retailers who are starting to feel the heat in the retail recession of 2011.
