Is New Leadership Making a Difference at Yahoo?

At times, it seems that Yahoo has had more CEOs than Chelsea FC have had managers. Yahoo has tried several times to change strategic direction through new leadership but has struggled to compete with Google in search engine and email.However the appointment of former Google director Marissa Mayer appears to be working. Yahoo's share price has risen 30% since her appointment and for the first time in four years, Yahoo's revenues are now growing.

Some useful background on Marissa Mayer here - she was the 20th employee at Google and the first female engineer there!
