Upgrading to a new system is always a process that can easily go wrong. The consequences are negative not just for Waterstones sales, but also for stakeholders such as authors whose new books are missing out on sales.
Let's hope this is all resolved in good time before the traditional seasonal surge in book sales for Christmas.
