Hot Seat takes its place at the home of football

Students visiting a very famous football stadium will now be putting themselves in The Hot Seat. as part of their studies.

We were delighted this morning to get an order for our new business management game The Hot Seat. Actually we got several orders for what is proving to be a really popular resource, and we are grateful for all of them. However, it was particularly pleasing to get a request for the game from the Study Support Centre at a very famous football stadium. We’re not allowed to mention the name of the venue - that’s brand protection for you! Lets just call it Womberley

I suspect that playing The Hot Seat at Womberley might provide that extra spark of inspiration for students faced with the management challenges of the game.

The Womberley order got me thinking about the promotional strategy for the resource. 200 schools and colleges in the UK and overseas have invested in The Hot Seat so far and the interest in the game is building all the time. I wondered whether we might organise a taster morning for Business, Enterprise and other teachers at a local Premiership or Championship football club. Run the session as a competition, with the winner taking away a free network licence. It feels like a good idea - so we need to get on and organise something for the summer.

Hot on the heels of Womberley came an order from Rugby League club Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (arch-enemies of my beloved Leeds Rhinos). I think it is time I made a sales call to Headingley Carnegie!
