HL P3

If you are like me and have struggled with getting hold of some good material for teaching of the new Higher Level Paper 3, you may find the attached useful. This is available for download on the OCC website. Although it is at times a bit more than what students are likely to need in the actual exam, I like the way it goes through the various key stages of different models and shows where quantification questions may be asked. It is structured in a similar sense to the spec itself, micro macro and international. Development is not assessed within the new HL P3 and so is not included in this booklet. You may also wish to have a good old hunt on the internet. If you search 'IB higher level paper 3' or 'quantification questions for economics' and so on, you may be truly amazed at some of the good material is out there.There is a catch....most of these resources I have stumbled (and I do mean that) usually are lacking the accompanying teacher guides - so you will have to do most of the calculations yourself before giving to your students for assessment. Never a bad thing in my eyes....putting ourselves in the role of the student.Enjoy...
