Go Animate was a teaching strategy that Mark Mitchell from Greenhead College showcased at TBBLE 3 last year and I must say that Im a massive fan of this technique.Go Animate is a FREE cartoon creator and is perfect for Business Studies. All you need to do is register and you are at the races.In a nutshell, Go Animate allows you and your students to create professional cartoons in minutes. You choose the scenario, choose your characters and simply type in the conversation. So, how is it used in Business Studies? Well, Mark gets the students to create Go Animate cartoons of topics for revision and because you are limited to the amount of characters you can use, the students need to focus on the key points.An alternative method is for the teacher to create a Go Animate cartoon as a starter or plenary. An additional strategy could be to have a Go Animate 'Beat the Teacher' with a number of mistakes in for students to spot.The link to the website is here.
