Jammy entrepreneur Fraser Doherty is in the news again.. He has been nominated for an award that celebrates Britain’s inspiring young talent.

We’re looking forward to meeting Fraser Doherty, CEO of Superjam, when we speaks at the Business Teacher National Conference on Friday 4 July 2008.

Fraser’s Superjam business goes from strength to strength. The business Fraser started five years ago now makes more than half a million jars of jam each year, supplying most of the major supermarkets.

The Business Teacher National Conference is being held at the British Library Conference Auditorium, St Pancras. In addition to a session with Fraser, we are delighted that Sophi Tranchell, CEO of Divine Chocolate, will be joining us. Sophi was named Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007 and recently was a finalist in the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Awards.

The conference features a range of other useful sessions, including an insight into what goes on behind the scenes at a Ofsted-graded outstanding business studies dept, and a range of innovative suggestions for using ICT in the business classroom.

Conference places can be booked online here.

Alternatively, you can download a booking form, or call tutor2u on 0844 800 0085 to reserve places for yourself and your colleagues.

It promises to be a fantastic end-of-school year event.
