News from the CBI of the substantial structural changes in the way we work in the UK…

This article from the Telegraph makes interesting reading The CBI has published the results of a comprehensive survey that illustrates the growth of flexible working in the UK. 46 per cent of the firms in the survey offer flexible working as part of the employment package - up from 14 per cent in 2006.

More than half the firms polled now offer teleworking

There is also evidence that many employees want to work well beyond the official retirement ages - for financial and non-financial reasons.
