Fast-track your Preparation for BTEC National Business ( Year 1 )

We are looking forward to meeting BTEC Business teachers at our forthcoming Fast-track your Preparation for BTEC National Business (Year1) events. We’ve got a packed day planned!

Kicking off the day with a brief overview of the new specification, taking delegates through the key changes. We then dive into Unit 3, where we focus on the demands of the Unit 3 exam; taking a forensic look at question styles and what students need to do to reach the top band of the mark scheme. During this session, we will outline the common mistakes students made in May 2017 and introduce strategies and resources to embed the key exam skills students need to maximise their performance. The Unit 3 resource pack contains a selection of new activities to deliver section A and section B content together with a bumper Revision PowerPack too.

Session 3, we take a look at perhaps the most discussed unit on our BTEC Business Teachers Facebook page, Unit 2 Developing a Marketing Campaign. Here we will guide delegates through a Steps to Success resource pack, discuss the main issues of the external task and strategies to overcome them. This session will give delegates the tools to ensure their students are assessment ready!

After a tasty lunch, we move onto session 4. Here we will explore a selection of tutor2u’s favourite resources; ideal for delivering the Unit 1 content.

Finally, we take a whistle stop tour through resources to engage and inspire BTEC learners.

If you are only allowed to attend one CPD event this academic year, make it this one. All delegates will leave with over 50 resources to deliver the BTEC National Business course, which certainly justifies attending.
