Embracing Web 2.0 in the Business & Economics Classroom

Jim Riley

7th March 2008

I have streamed the presentation I gave at the British Library last Friday on Web 2.0.

It was great meet so many tutor2u customers and contacts at the wonderful British Library last week.

My session was intended to be an introduction to “Web 2.0”, the name given to the sea-change in the way that the Web is now used.

We covered (albeitly briefly) areas such as:

- Blogging
- Social bookmarking
- Podcasting
- RSS feeds and readers
- Image sharing
- Video capture and sharing

Some of these themes were developed later in the day with some further practical demonstrations and an audience Q&A.

Later today, I’ll be writing up the resources and suggestions made in those sessions.
