It looks like UK firms still have quite a way to go before they achieve a high market share. The article explains that:
“The international market for CCS in 2007-08 was £13.28bn, of which the UK’s share was £468m”
However, the important point is that the global CCS market is likely to grow rapidly in the coming years, so UK firms need to establish themselves in the industry in order to catch the wave of strong market growth.
