Bring Great Business & Enterprise Speakers to Meet Your Students
21st September 2010
I’m delighted to announce a new tutor2u partnership which is designed to make it easier and more cost effective for colleagues to bring external business & enterprise speakers into school or college. Our new Speakers for Schools section is now live on the tutor2u website.
We’ve agreed to work with School Speakers - a new social enterprise set up by Apprentice Finalist Claire Young and her fellow entrepreneur Cat Yaffe.
We know from chatting with dozens of colleagues that finding the right external speaker to bring into school is often challenging. You might be unsure where to start looking for inspirational speaker; searching is often time-consuming and working to a small budgets can be limiting. Then what happens if the speaker proves somewhat disappointing or unreliable?
Claire and Cat aim to eliminate these issues and provide you with personal approach and efficient service.
We’re happy to support this new social enterprise by providing marketing and other support. And you might notice some familiar speaker names now available through the tutor2u website! Our good friends Fraser Doherty, Sabirul Islam and Rajeeb Dey are joined by Apprentice winner Lee McQueen and Claire Young herself, alongside many other excellent and diverse speakers.
We’ve tried to make the enquiry process simple. Our speaker site contains brief biographical details of each available speaker, together with an online form which you can use to pass on your request to Claire and Cat. There is no commitment involved in sending your request - they will liase with you to find out more about your event and/or speaking requirements, timing, budget etc and then work with you to agree a suitable speaker engagement.
