Amazon Continues to Pursue Long-term Revenue Growth Strategy - But the Share Price Tanks

The latest financial results by Amazon demonstrate that Jeff Bezos' long-term growth strategy based on revenue maximisation is still working effectively - even if some investors bemoan the relatively low profitability of the e-commerce giant.
For many years Amazon has had a policy of reinvesting retained profits into the business. Shareholders wanting a strong dividend needed to look elsewhere.
