Who is Obama's Supreme Court nominee?
16th March 2016
President Obama today announced that he was nominating Merrick Garland as the justice to replace Antonin Scalia on the US Supreme Court. Garland is currently the chief judge on the Washington Appeals Court, and was appointed to that role by Democrat president Bill Clinton in 1997.
